Safety Drill Information

Keeping the students safe during the school day is extremely important at Pinehurst Early Elementary.  Throughout the school year we conduct fire drills, severe weather drills, and lockdown (shelter in place) drills. Some of these drills are conducted under the supervision of Mt. Morris Police and Fire Department to ensure the drills are adequate and effective for the safety of our students. Recently, the State of Michigan passed legislation requiring schools to post the dates of drills as they are conducted. Pinehurst Early Elementary will conduct 6 fire drills, 2 severe weather drills and 3 lockdown drills as outlined by The State of Michigan. This safety section of the website will post the dates of completion as required.
